Reference: All GlobTek power supply models.

This PCN impacts all GlobTek power supply models, both medical and ITE. GlobTek now offers three options for marking power supplies: PAD print, laser print and thermal transfer polyester labels. Label marking is at GlobTek option. The addition of laser print option for marking of power supplies does not affect the form, fit or function of the GlobTek power supply. Label content and regulatory approvals remain the same.

Reason for Change: The addition of laser print option for labels increase thru-put for label production and minimizes label lead time while maintaining the quality of the power supply markings. GlobTek continues to utilize PAD print and thermal transfer polyester sheet labels. A combination of PAD, laser or thermal transfer labels will be used in production without notice.

Specification Notes: GlobTek specifications will be updated to include the added laser print marking option. Laser printed labels, PAD printed labels, and thermal transfer polyester sheet labels all comply with power supply regulatory requirements. The font color of laser printed labels is gray whereas the PAD printed and thermal transfer labels have white font.

Schedule for Implementation: Effective immediately, PAD print, laser print and thermal transfer polyester sheet labels will be produced.
